The background

In early 2022 I worked on bp’s Scan to Score Premier League promotion from concept to final delivery. Working closely with a brilliant designer, we were asked to come up with something accessible, visually appealing and light hearted, but authentic in its love of football. We came up with a series of assets which played on the contrasts between the high drama of sport and the everyday experience of shopping at a bp garage.

The results

This was a wide-ranging campaign which included the following assets:

A 60 second radio ad which blurred the lines between excitable football commentary and buying everyday items

Various pun-tastic OOH banners and social posts

A series of adverts (ranging from 10-60 seconds) which poked fun at over the top celebrations:
